Something's Fishy

Nathan wasn't interested in having his picture taken today when I wanted to play with my fish-eye lens, so I took some pictures of his fishy friends.

But he forgave me for interrupting his playtime with my camera and was willing to kiss and make-up (yes, that is how he kisses...wide open mouth...be careful what you ask for!)

Show the kid some LOVE!

I don't believe there is only ONE person who reads this blog that has any comments about the pictures here. (Thanks for showin' the love Anne!) You can tell Nathan he is cute as many times as you want...he doesn't get tired of hearing it! It's not easy making funny faces, having meltdowns and occasionally smiling for the camera. Show him some LOVE and leave him a comment...I promise I will tell him ;-)

Nathan's disposition after hearing how cute he is....

And after I post pictures of him and tell him no one has any comments about his "cuteness"...

Just some random shots from the last two days. His favorite new thing is taking all the jars from my spice rack and stacking them anywhere and everywhere...on top of the garbage can, on the window ledge, on the bed, on his crib mattress (he reaches through the slats to do it), on the couch...anywhere!

Better late than never!

Courtney and John celebrated their big milestone birthdays together in Rochester at Main Street Billiards with family and friends thanks to Courtney's fine planning of the big bash. Unfortunately, we had to flee the scene early due to John's pager going off, so I didn't get around to take pictures of all the people who came to celebrate. There's even an "oh so rare" picture of me below in honor of this monumental occasion! Can you find me?

Here's a few pictures...I think they speak for themselves.

Developmental milestone...I don't think so!

Of course all mothers think their children are brilliant and I am no exception. Well, brilliant might not be the best word, maybe tallented, gifted??? I mean, what 14 month old do you know who can undress themselves? Okay, maybe a lot of kids that age can, but not with the same attitude of my son! Do you think this skill substitutes for not being able to stack blocks yet?

Like most things, we start off somewhat happy...

Then the face that means...guess what I have up my sleeve.

Then I realize, he really means his "sleeve"!

So proud of himself...

Of course, it's really cold in Michigan, so I put his arm back in the sleeve...

And again....

Then this look like there is nothing else fun to do besides play with sleeves...

He thinks if he ignores me, I won't notice the sleeve...

So finally I give in to his new fashion statement, praise him for his new skill, and crank up the heat in the house...

Another major meltdown avoided!

No words

The pictures speak a thousand words...what a cutie!
